Peugeot VELVET Car Concept in Paris

In response to the newly launched Opel RAK concept e, Peugeot unveiled VELVET Concept in Paris. The velvet is a fuel-efficient electric three-wheeler which offers an indoor space for the three and weighs only 1433 pounds.

The concept of velvet gives a total output of 26 hp and has a range of 62 miles. The concept can reach a top speed of 68 km / h and consumes only 85 Wh per mile, which means that the environmental footprint is equivalent to a train ride. The concept shown in real time on the field to be eligible for the practice and identifies charging stations that can be achieved with the remaining charge.

The concept is designed for fleets of companies, leasing of traditional societies, and self-service systems as Autolib, second car buyers and many customers who want a better option for getting around the city. It was designed by Peugeot and Citroen, in collaboration with a research laboratory that have joined forces to meet the challenges of future mobility.
