2010 e-Tron Audi Electric Sports Car Concept

Audi is showing an uncompromising purist compact sports car with all-electric drive at the 2010 NAIAS. Audi presents the highlight of the IAA 2009: the e-tron, a high-performance sports car with a purely electric drive system. Four motors – two each at the front and rear axles – drive the wheels, making the concept car a true quattro. The Detroit Audi concept of e-Tron is 3.93 meters (154.72 in) long and 1.78 meters (70.08 inches) wide, but only 1.22 meters (48.03 in) high two-seater. Audi concept of e-Tron weighing only about £ 1350 (€ 2976.24), high engine torque to the rear auto-road performance.

Two asynchronous electric motor with a total capacity of 150 kilowatts (204 hp) gives the Audi Concept Detroit e-Tron real sports car performance. Concept car sprint from 0 to 100 kmh (0-62,14 mph) in 5.9 seconds, if necessary, and went 60-120 kmh (37,28-74,56 mph) in 5.1 seconds.
The top speed is limited to 200 kmh (124.27 mph), and the amount of energy needed by the electric motor to increase disproportionately to speed. The range in the NECD combined cycle is approximately 250 kilometers (155.34 miles).
Energy storage unit is charged with household current (230 volts, 16 amps) through a cable and plug. Socket behind the flap on the back of the car. When charging the battery for nearly 11 hours, but now the weight (400 volts, 32 amps) was cut only about two hours.

E-Tron Audi concept car rolls on 19-inch wheels of 35-spoke design. Tires 235/35 front and 255/35 rear tires provide excellent grip. Other special features of the band: Audi designers a special profile for Audi Concept Detroit e-Tron.
